Why is it best not to have latex gloves in the first aid kit?

Some people are very allergic to latex.  This includes both victims and rescuers.  Some people don't know that they are allergic until they have a bad allergic reaction.  Putting on latex gloves releases bits of latex into the air.  This may make an allergic person ill.  So it is best not to use latex gloves at all.  It is suggested that first aid kits include disposable, nonlatex gloves.
